2LMX Watch
Just announced is the new watch brand 2LMX with their first watchthe 2LMX. I think a model name will come later. The super cool mechanical timepiece is one of those things that helps me explain to people what I do when they ask "how is it that you write at least once a day on watches?" Because cool stuff like this keeps coming out. The watch is the brainchild of Arnaud Tellier. He is the former head of the Geneva Patek Philippe museum.Interesting that he and his pals went futuristic after he resided over classic and vintage pieces for so long. The 2LMX watch reminds me of the Cabestan Winch Tourbillon Vertical watch (a lot). These watches share concepts including the overall design. They both have vertically mounted tourbillons, they both have split dials, and they both have highly exposed cases and movements. Do You Like the Nautilus 40th Pieces now decent pictures are out?
Simple question: Do you like the Nautilus 40th Anniversary Pieces now real pictures have been posted rather than the factory shots which have so divided the watch community?I have started this thread simply because there was a pretty universal dislike to some aspects of the 40th Nautilus models which now that actual watches have been seen has changed considerably. Some of the biggest detractors have now placed or are considering placing orders!Please have a look at the following pictures before placing your vote, these were all taken by a Patek client of actual production watches and no editing has taken place. Just wondering what are your thoughts? I have yet to tried on in person but I was offered twice this month by different AD/boutique (Asia) this month with a slight discount off MSRP (15% n 18%) with ready immediate stock. They are all double sealed n I reluctant to ask for a on the wrist test drive since I am not certain n I am not going to ruin some real buyer's joy of unsealing. ;)Looks big in the double sealed box.
