- The band is a bit thick for the watch face. I had to have several links removed before it fit. But overall, it is a very nice looking watch.

Invicta 80190 wrist watches news:
Hi-I am new to this forum. Just got my first Hamilton today - Jazzmaster chrono H32646555, silver face with rose gold case. It is a great looking watch. I have two questions1) When I came home and saw the watch in full light, I noticed that the gold plating on #2 mark in the dial is very slightly eroded. What is the durability of the gold plating in these watches ? If I scratch the case, would the stainless steel underneath show ?2) The leather band adjusted to the last hole is still loose on my hand. Is there a way to tighten the band further (i.e) beyond the last hole ?Thanks in advance for your help.. I hope to enjoy this nice watch for years..
Now I think it was Rick who started a thread about crashing prices last month, .....and I didn't want to hi-jack the thread.......but it seems to me that I have heard recently that the USA watches are starting to command higher prices in Europe......and that thye are recognizing the quality of some of our homegrown watches ......so that would have to be some seriously vintage watches as the ubiquitous Swiss movement started showing up in American companies at least by the 40s, but I don't know the exact date or year on that ...........or they could be tired of paying astronomical prices on the European vintage watches ,......( I made that up ....are they paying astronomical prices on European watches ?) I don't remember where I saw that statement about vintage US watches becoming more popular over the other side of the pond.....but has anyone else heard that or noticed it in passing ? ......and I have noticed that the wrist watch prices are creeping up ......kinda slowly ....but the up
please, first of all, NOBODY take this personal and I really do NOT want to offend anybody !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I even like the NautilusBUT ¡. When looking at recent posts I think something is going wrong. Patek is imo much , much more than a few Nautilus. It seems like 1 out of 2 posts is about a NautilusIs Patek getting the AP RO disease ? AP is such an interesting brand and they make so much more than only RO and ROOI really hope Patek won't make the same mistakeSo I hope to see more non-nautilus posts.
Hello everyone here at TRF! Over the years I have been a huge fan of Patek. I own several pieces and always smile when one is on my wrist. Well, just this morning I noticed that something did not seem right with my Aquanaut. Upon closer investigation I noticed that the hour hand seemed to be misaligned. In other words, at the top of the hour when the minute hand was pointing directly north to the 12, the hour hand was slightly ahead of where it should be positioned. The picture attached to this post will better explain what I am speaking about. My first question is, how the he!! does this happen? To make matters worse, this piece was just serviced by the Henri Stern Watch Agency a little more than 2 years ago. I wouldn't expect this kind of malfunction so soon after a total overhaul service. Making matters worse, it is now out of the 1 year guarantee period that they offer on their work which means that I am likely going to be hit with another $1,800 service charge to get this c
I removed the bracelet on my new datejust 41 and I noticed that the serial number is not engraved between the lugs at 6 o¡¯clock. Is this normal on the new models? Everything else looks fine? Let me know please
