A hamilton OS 19j 985 in a recased GF hunter case just sold on Ebay for over $3000.00. Three bidders where over $2000. I am familiar with the seller and highly doubt he is playing any games.I know it is a fairly rare and a beautiful movement, and probably less were made than the production numbers indicate.I can see $500, maybe up to $750 if two people really really want it, but over $3000???. I don't see rare, low production Hamilton pw movements bringing alot of money. Hamilton Navy Pioneer has arrived
The Hamilton Navy Pioneer H78465553 uses the ETA 2895-2 movement which has 27 jewels. The watch is 40MM, with 20mm lugs, water resistance to 328 ft and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.The dial is finished in a ¡°velvety¡± gun metal blue finish, with the seconds dial treated with concentric rings. In real life, the blue is vibrant and blue. Apparently my photographic skills are able to transform that color to blackThe hands are long and highly polished. "Guaranteed Authentic" - What does it mean?
Hi TRF,I am new to the forum and to the watch collection world in general. I want to start investing in some Rolex timepieces. I did some research and learned that I should buy from trusted sellers. But, what does it mean when a seller guarantees that the piece is 100% authentic?- All parts are Rolex?- All parts are original?Does it also provide any guarantees that the piece came from a safe source (i.e., wasn't stolen)?Thanks for your guidance.
