So earlier today I posted for sale my Seiko SNM023 that I purchased a little under a year ago. One of the puzzling things about that watch was that if you googled 'SNM023', about 95% of the hits would be posts of mine in various watch fora where it was listed in my signature. You just couldn't find anything out about this watch.In preparation for the sale, I took a number of decent photos. One was of the sticker on the back of the box that showed the model number SNM023. It also indicated 'MENS BRACELET' which is funny, because mine is on a strap and I was always sure it was original as the strap and deployant were both signed.I decided to go fishing for information on google. I took a chance with a google translation of a page that was originally Polish. And there it was, a genuine SNM023 in the wild (or more precisely, Poland).Now I don't know about you, but I don't see the resemblance with the watch in my possession. Buying 2nd hand Aqua Terra, should I worry about which 2500 movement?
Hi everyone! I'm considering buying a second hand Aqua Terra. I would really appreciate any advice about 1) Can I tell from looking through the display back which version of the 2500 movement it has? Is there any other way to tell?, and 2) Should I not buy it if it has either a 2500A or 2500B? It's a four year old 2503 model. I don't know what movement was standard with this model. Any help or advice on buying this great watch would be very much appreciated.
