Corum 6481056 wrist watches news:
Any confirmation to a few rumors that have been tossed around regarding a price increase in North America really soon, like January 2010?Also, I know it's too soon to tell but is the Exp II going to be replaced?I heard several times that it was being discontinued.Don't you just love rumors?
Hi everyone I am a new member that has always been interested in wrist watches. I have collection of some older / newer watches such as a 1949Hamilton, 1951 Elgin. 1965 Wittnauer, 1975 Omega, 1980 Seiko, 1985 Pulsar, ? Hilton, 2005 Swiss Army and recently an Alpha.Hope to learn alot from this forum!Cheers Paul
Depending on how much my bonus is and how much gets eaten up by "honey dos" first, I am thinking my watch for the year will be as described above. It would likely replace the Ball Fireman I in the rotation.I have tried on, and pretty much fallen in love with the 38.5 mm AquaTerra, in blue. I would like to see the new annual calendar version in the flesh, but it doesn't look as pretty as the regular date ones in pictures.I also really like the 39 mm Explorer I, and would like to own a Rolex you don't see every day. What else should I consider? Vintage is a possibility also, especially a birth-year model (1971).
I want to add a third AP 44 to my existing collection of two44¡¯s the rose gold and the summer edition. Kindly let me knowwhich one to go for the ceramic or the TI. All suggestions and Expert advices are welcome as many freinds here have both Or had the privilege to try on both side by side. Thanking you In advance. Have a great week!RegardsUrooj
Never posted on the Omega forum (I've owned a couple of Rolex) but I currently find myself seriously considering one of:Seamaster 300 modernSeamaster 300 '57Railmaster modernRailmaster '57Firstly, I welcome any views or experience from owners or enthusiasts on any of the above. How do they compare in quality and fit & finish to a modern Rolex, perhaps something like an Explorer ?Secondly, I note that the Railmaster '57 has a quoted water resistance of 60m. I am not familiar with the conventions of Omega's depth rating - is this a rating that means you can comfortably swim and bathe or is it little more than splash proof ?I think I prefer the look of the Railmaster '57 to the Seamaster '57 but the depth rating is my main worry.
