- Very easy to read dial and work timers on the go. I use this watch for everyday use as well as biking and running, no need to fumble trying to get timer or alarm to work.

- Great watch, it is exactly what I was looking for. I like the bling, but also like that it is not too over the top. It is very expensive looking, very classy.

Okay, let me beg this right at the start - please do not turn this into some kind of personal crusade on how good or bad Tag Heuer is. Right....I have read many posts from members who state that they started on the bumpy road to WISdom with a Tag Heuer watch. I'm one of them, and I still love my Tag Spirotechnique Diver to bits (could it be the most posted Tag in this forum....I hope not ).Tag make very good, stylish and generally dependable Swiss watches. However, the most common 'complaint' I see posted these days is how they just don't represent 'value for money' especially the quartz models and are getting too expensive for an 'average buyer' (whoever that may be).Now stop right there! Do not reply with a personal opinion on how Tag are the best value for money watches on the planet - that's not what this thread is about. What I am interested in, is what you all think may have replaced Tag Heuer as an 'entry level' Swiss watch that people are buying, now that Tag 'may' be getting bey
Ok - I was thinking the other day, who makes a nice looking gold sports watch? I'm not talking dress or semi-dress styles, many people make those. But who out there makes a nice, sporty watch, but in 18k rose, yellow or white gold? I realize many of you are "not gold people", and probably double so on the sports models. But, to those that are, what's even out there? I'm not looking to buy anything, but just curious and looking for conversation here. As this is for informative fun, price is no object! The ones I've thought of so far are;IWC - the Chrono Pilot in rose gold is absolutely stunning & definitely in the sport range.Panerai - Don't remember the model name, but I don't think many Pannies can be called a true 'dress watch'.Rolex - You've got the gold Subs, Yachtmasters, GMT & Daytonas.. Though they are only available on gold bracelets (except the Daytona which is available on a strap)Zenith - Certainly a sport look. BlancPain - The 50 Phantom is available in gold
As someone with a 7 flat wrist, a 44 feels like it fits my wrists as a glove (personal opinion of course). I tend to favor watches with a bit of heft. While doing some homework between the 15400 and 15202, I gathered that many people feel that the 15202 may be better proportioned, thus the result of a slimmer and smaller case. I really like the dial of the jumbo, especially the AP lettering towards the Southern Hemisphere. However, being that my body type happens to fall in the category of 'I enjoy stuffing my face', dial versus heft, I would choose the weight of the 15400. The only problem is I have not been able get my hands on a jumbo to experience the difference. Are the weights of the two quite similar or is there a noticeable difference? Also, I noticed that the 15400 has a 3120 movement while the jumbo has a 2121 movement; is there any difference in the two movements? I am not knowledgeable on the two movements. Thanks.
but I would love to see which one would you prefer (if you could afford either the PP or the AP).
