Corum Corum 43474 wrist watches news:
I've just read in another forum that Oris is right up there as a watch that depreciates significantly after purchase. Admittedly there was no supporting evidence given, so it's no more than one man's opinion. But I'm curious, have any of you experienced this? Is Oris any better/worse than other brands?? Tag Heuer was also mentioned as a fast 'depreciator' - this one I can understand. Tag have been positioning themselves as a prestige brand for a few years now, and charging high prices (IMHO) to encourage a perception of high quality ("It costs a lot so it must be good, right...?"). It¡¯s also worth noting that a watch that fits me perfectly is a touch loose on my wife, which is how she likes to wear her watches, so my skinny wrists (c.6.5¡±) are finally doing me a favour!I have 9 months to give this proper consideration (as need to save) and will try on various watches, but keen to get the party started and would appreciate the view of anyone who has been on the same journey. The questions on my mind right now are:1.Alth
