Corum Corum 49338 wrist watches news:
Earlier today we told you that Phillips has a new international head of watches in ex-Christie's co-head Sam Hines – but we know what you guys like to see, and that's watches. So we're back to give you a small little taste of the types of watches we'll see in the Phillips Geneva Watch Auction: Two, taking place this November 8th. Patek Philippe 2497 Perpetual Calendar In Pink Gold 1 OF 10 The first watch we'll look at is a reference 2497 from Patek. The 2497 is considered one of the finest and most elegant watches made by the house of Patek – it is a perpetual calendar dating to the 1950s. The last time we mentioned a 2497 on HODINKEE was when we saw a spectacular example from the collection of a Mr. Jason Singer in this episode of Talking Watches. 2 OF 103 OF 10 This particular example is special because it is in wonderful condition and one of the few pieces made not in yellow gold, but in rose. Hi,I am looking to buy my first omega. It is a seamaster professional 200, the one with 18k gold bezel, s/s bracelet. I have second thoughts of buying it because I noticed that the case back does not have the "seahorse" or "hippo" on it. Instead the case back only says " Omega Seamaster". Is this a fake? Since this type of seamaster is marketed as a collectible, what other things that buyers should look out for? Thanks
Am thinking of buying my first luxury watch and can't decide between the PP 5990 or the Rolex Sky Dweller.Anyone willing to chime in which one I should get and why? Thanks in advance!
I have been wearing my Rolexes almost exclusively for around 2 years but recently I started falling back in love with my PP's. I wanted to start the summer with something a little nautical....It really is a great watch!
I traded my 392 ¨C even though it's the better size for my smaller wrist, it just didn't feel right. I've had my eye on a 233 for a while ¨C the slimmer case is so comfortable and the dome crystal is just stunning. And even though there's far more going on than the 392 it still looks clean and tidy (to my eyes anyway).I am absolutely delighted with this watch:
