Need help concerning case!
I need help. I have an Elgin 6s hunter movement lever set at 5. Problem: the winding stem is sticking out of the movement like in this picture from the internet: thumbs4.ebaystatic/d/w225...1HZjs75hEw.jpgMy question: can I buy any hunter case for lever set watches in size 6, and modify it easily to house my watch? Or do I have to look for a special case?Kind regards,Marco

Polishing Product
Thought I'd try something different. Had a couple of gold colored watches laying around. A Benrus, and a Tissot 516. Both from the 60's. Both had some discoloration on the cases. Broke out a can of Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish that I use on the Harley's aluminum and chrome. This is a slightly abrasive polish, sort of like a mild rubbing compound. If you use it on dull aluminum, eventually the aluminum will look like chrome. I'll take a little dab on a cloth and rub it on the metal and then buff it with a soft towel. The first towel will turn black from the metal being cleaned. So, I tried it on the two "gold" cases and it worked great!!!! The can says "perfect for all metals." I then tried it on the clasp on my AirKing. I used it sparingly and it removed the light scratches and brought the clasp to a very shiny gloss. If you have a brushed or dull finish (and want it to stay that way) I wouldn't use this product as it is slightly abrasive and will make the surface look shiny like ch

Hi, Can anyone help me with the OME code for the date wheel for either the 2252.50 or 2233.50 SMP? I am contemplating modifying my 2531.80; I prefer the style of the 2254.50 but not the dial and intend to use the dial of the 2230.50 Non AC SMP, for the applied hour markers, Omega symbol and Omega. I have the OME codes for the following items: 2254.50 black bezel2230.50 dial2230.50 hands and dialHowever, try as I may using O Frei etc, I cannot discover the code for the black date wheel with white numbers. Second Patek Philippe-Collection Finished
While looking for a new 5711, it became very clear after numerous counseling sessions before his (Ken's) fee increase and possible Patek increase, that I should take advantage of this 5980/1R-001. Often I hesitate and end up regretting it so it seemed like the right time to go on this one. Very stunning. Ken had to talk me out of a second Sky-Dweller several times.
