Ebel 9256M43/108WC35 wrist watches news:
So I bought the watch and now have this amazing box. It's so nice, I can't even remember what my Rolex box looks like. I mean the luxurious look, the feel, the size, the smellI can imagine other manufacturers staking out the ultra high end would offer something similar, but this thing is impressive. Even the box for the box is nice. I have to wonder how much this thing adds to the retail price of every Omega, but I almost don't care, 'cause I like it.I was amused to see the very utilitarian plastic bubble packaging my watch actually arrives in, and that the boxes are shipped to the AD separately. As a result, I suspect many of these boxes never even see a watch. A kind of behind the scenes glimpse into the magicians bag of tricks.Problem is I have a winder, and I feel like it would be a waste to just shove such a nice box in a closet. Hi, can anybody give me some tips on cleaning brass on an old pocket watch.
been wearing my pam for about a month now, the straps still seems a bit hard, is there a way to make it softer faster?
I have been eyeing a 233 to add to my collection for a few months. After reviewing all of Traveller's great pieces on the 233, I knew it was the piece for me. I am so appreciative for those of you (like Traveller), who are willing to take the time to provide great reviews and great pics. Traveller and I have never met or exchanged greetings, but my appreciation goes out to him - individuals like him make this a great forum! Here is my latest addition.
Hi Guys -- I just thought I'd share the Rolex Date that was given to me. It was purchased new in 1988 by my aunt for my Uncle (have receipt). He died a few years ago and as she was preparing to move houses, she gave it to me as a gift. I personally love its family story and how it compliments my 1601 Datejust. Pics of both of them below. One question: I haven't had the chance to pull the lugs off -- can anyone advise me of the model number?
