Ebel 1215892 wrist watches news:
Im having a hard time finding a white faced Lady Datejust with diamonds on the bezel and not on the face. Is it possible that this was "one offed" by someone? Im trying to help ID this for a friend. Thanks!Uncle Dave
Jeez, its 10:30AM and nobody has started a WAYW thread?? Where is Lagunatic? He should be on this! Same as yesterday: Breguet Tradition 7027
Alright, so I recently decided that it was time for a new watch and stumbled upon this. A Nixon "The Capitol" in 23k gold plate. I always wanted a gold watch, but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for one. I got this for only 200$ from Ebay, which saved me 70+ shipping from an online store or their site. I'm so happy with my purchase! The pics are as follows: Stock image from Nixon, the actual watch, actual watch again, and again, and my collection. Also, sorry about the pic quality.
Is it possible to put a steel offshore bracelet on the 44 mm Novelty?I was wondering this. Never seen a picture of this combo. Maybe because it won't fit..Pics are more then welcome (if it's possible of course).CHEERS!!!Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met behulp van Tapatalk
and there were two things that I noticed. First, when I pulled the crown out to adjust the time, I saw that the seconds hand in the left sub-dial would jump and move about 10 seconds forward as I turned the crown and didn't quite return to its original position. Then I put the minute hand exactly at the 12 o'clock position and saw that the hour hand did not line up exactly with any of the hour markers. It was only slightly off, but this was especially noticeable when I put the time to 12 o'clock where the hour hand seemed one minute ahead I where it should have been. The watch was new in the display case, but I didn't ask the sales lady about it as this was at a jewelry store and she started off our conversation by saying that she didn't know all that much about watches. Has anyone else noticed this in the 9300 Speedie? I'm just starting to learn about watches and automatic movements, but it seems to me that a watch in this price range shouldn't have this problem. Thanks.
