Ebel 1215987 wrist watches news:
Like many celebrities Sylvester Stallone is a big watch lover. Unlike others he is attributed with making a brand popular in Hollywood (Panerai), and working closely with watch companies. Accordingly, Panerai has even released models with the "Slytech" name in honor of Stallone for his love and participation with the company. Stallone love's Panerai so much, he even proudly wears them in some of his movies most recently Rambo 4. See what watch Stallone wore in Rambo here. Not to be a one watch brand man, Stallone has a fondness for big watches. A recent company that has interested Stallone is U-Boat, an Italian designer producing well made watches with distinct retro-military-nautical themes. Some might consider these watches "over-size," others think they are just right. See the video below of Stallone testing a few new U-Boat watches (to what I am sure must be to Panerai's dissatisfaction with their smaller, large watches at 44-46mm).I love Stallone's remarks about Arnold Schwarzenegg
I'm sure this watch has been discussed here before, but today I got my first real look and feel of the new GMT II. I'll just say this, it's much better in the metal than pictures. What pics cannot show is how solildly built this model is. One thing that struck me in particular is the bracelet. It's so much nicer than the previous model's (including the Sub and SubDate's). It is heftier, has a much better clasp and though many may disagree, the polished center links are very beautiful, giving it the look of a dressy sports (aka "tool") watch. The new GMT II has quickly risen to the top of my short list of "must have one day" watches.
I stumbled a beautiful Glashutte watch, what do you think?Glasfjutte nr0967.jpg

Well I've never paid much attention to APs but after we got the AP sub forum here on TRF I've been following closely. I'm head over heels for the AP ROO Chrono ref. 26170ST.OO.1000ST.01. I've looked but not seen as many pics as I would like. Any wrist shots guys? My grails were the WG Sub C or GMTIIC in YG with green dial. I think I'll take the AP over both. I don't want this to turn into a discount or price thread but what should I expect to pay for the watch. I was going to buy another $10k ish watch but I want to hold off for the AP now. It might take a little while to save since I am getting married in 4 months (not paying for wedding but buying my fianc¨¦ a Rolex DJ in gold with diamond bezel.) I would also like some AD references in NJ, Philly, or NY. I would really like to buy from AD since it will be my last big watch purchase for a while. Do AP ADs discount (I know it's prob depending on customer?). I do want it on the bracelet if that matter. Thanks so much for any help you c
