Ebel 1215402 wrist watches news:
At SIHH in Geneva next month, Richard Mille will introduce a new in-house caliber, the CRMA1. It represents an original concept by the Richard Mille movement designers in Les Breuleux, Switzerland. The movement will debut in the new RM 037 Automatic, which features a patented crown mechanism integrated in the case. Find wallpaper inside. This automatic winding caliber created from skeletonized grade 5 titanium sports an oversize date at 12 o’clock and a function window at 4 o’ clock. Two subtly shaped pushers are located at 4 and 10 o¡¯clock. The pusher at 4 o’clock allows one to select the winding (W), neutral (N) and hand setting (H) functions with a simple push. An aperture located at 4 o’clock shows the function selected. The second pusher, at 10 o’clock, controls date changes, useful when traveling or for correcting the date when required at the end of the month. The RM 037 is fitted with a new crown mechanism, patented by Richard Mille. To John for graciously accepting all the 'refugees' and to the fellow members of WTF for their warm welcome and company. It is strange but this forum feels like I've never 'really' left TZ apart from missing some of the familiar faces who have yet to join in on the fun here.So in short, a big thank you to everyone
I keep coming across practically free examples of women's mechanicals and was wondering if there any sort of real interest out there in the real world for them or if watch collecting is almost exclusively reserved for men and men's watches. This weekend I picked up a couple of 60 year old Elgins for $4 (just because they were there) both are running and both are keeping excellent time. The movements are almost magically small coming in at maybe 2/3 the diameter of a dime. I really can't imagine what is took to assemble these back in the day or even now for that matter. So, is there anyone one out there who has any interest in these tiny marvels? Obviously not to wear, but just to admire the engineering and workmanship it takes to reduce a mans watch movement to something literally 1/4 the size.
I picked up a MKII a few weeks back, it was in great shape and I got it for an even better price. Service history was unknown, but seller agreed that if it wasn't authentic I could return it for a full refund. Long story short, I sent it off to Nesbit's for a full service and authentication. Good news it was all Omega.I also wanted to pick up an extract on it from Omega and was ready to have a friend from Germany get it for me since the Omege site says they don't ship them to the US. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they will ship stateside, but only to a residential address. If you are interested in an extract you just need to e-mail their customer service. Added bonus, they are great to work with! So now I'm curious to see if this mkII is an original racing dial or a redial. I'll get some more photos up after I get her back from Nesbit's, and let you all know the outcome of the extract once I get it in.Obligatory wrist shot
Got all contact info, but need to send them an email. Can anyone please help?OMEGA LtdCustomer ServiceRue Staempfli 962500 Bienne 4SwitzerlandPhone: 032 / 343 9561Fax: 032 / 343 9855
