A public apology to Jake's Watch Blog
WTF Rolex Forum Members and Friends:I wanted to take this opportunity to apologize to Jake of Jake's Rolex Watch Blog (rolexwatchblog).Jake approached me some months ago asking for a link on The Rolex Reference Page, as well some general cooperation. Of course, I get several such requests all the time. When I took a look at his watch blog, I didn't see a lot of original content (at the time it had mostly celebrity shots wearing Rolex watches and catalog shots) or depth of information. I politely declined, thinking that perhaps Jake was a new Rolex owner that had decided to put up a blog that might be gone in a few months when his interests shifted in another direction. Boy, was I wrong. In the past few months Jake has filled his blog with incredibly in-depth content. Quite honestly, Jake has done amazingly in-depth research into previously untaped areas of Rolex history and lore, and published his findings for free on his blog. I'm relatively new to Omegas and I was completely unaware of this model until today. I was at my AD and checking out their preowned collection. This watch immediately caught my attention and I can't even describe how cool I think this dial is. If anyone has a chance to check this out, I'd recommend trying it on. I believe it's referred to as the Aventurine dial. Here is the wristshot I took.

Need help, 233 or 028 special limited edition PDC/LDC?
Need help from you guys on which one to keep, as I need to sell one, I have both in 100% new state, the 233 is the K series with spot dial, which I like better than the new ones, as for the 028 it's a special 1000 pieces edition, here is the link to the panerai site for the 028..panerai/en/special-ed...serve-pam00028I like them both but can't keep both of them and can't make up my mind, of course they are very different from one another.Do you think the 028 will grow in value over the years? I see it on sale new or 95% between 7400 euros and 8000 euros, the 233 I got brand new for 8200 euros, knowing that they made 4500 of the spot version, plus all the new ones which have AM/PM instead of the spot, not as nice IMO..Thanks a lot for your help...

Hello TRF membersI have noticed that on the 2017 & 2018 DJ 41 models that there are two different reference codes with them being 126331 and 126334 same watch but what is the difference between the two? Does it have anything to do with the power reserve like one being a 48 hour and the other a 70 hour reserve? Thanks for your help.Dan
