- this is pretty but it is very heavy and mine was a little off center so that part of the watch showed. it also makes a clanking noise when i wear it.

Breitling A7135653/B903 wrist watches news:
Hi all, I have just received the watch today Sat, that I had posted about earlier asking about the Hamilton 691 movement.. Excuse my photos,T'was done with my web cam,I'm gonna have to break down and buy a Dig camera. The watch looks very good. In three hrs of wearing,it's spot on so far.. Albeit tooooo early to tell, any great movement running stories yet. I have two questions, about the movement... The last question will be at the bottom, and it's about a concern that I have noticed, after receiving the watch... It's kinda scary.... First..I have a question about this micro rotor movement, that some of you may be able to help me with... I need to know about the hand winding option on this particular movement. Yes,I know it can be hand wound,I gave it a few turns (about ten) just to get it going this morning. I own a couple of 7750's,and a few 2824's.. Both of these movements have a safety feature (if you will) built in to help prevent a broken watch from too much winding... Can
Now I think it was Rick who started a thread about crashing prices last month, .....and I didn't want to hi-jack the thread.......but it seems to me that I have heard recently that the USA watches are starting to command higher prices in Europe......and that thye are recognizing the quality of some of our homegrown watches ......so that would have to be some seriously vintage watches as the ubiquitous Swiss movement started showing up in American companies at least by the 40s, but I don't know the exact date or year on that ...........or they could be tired of paying astronomical prices on the European vintage watches ,......( I made that up ....are they paying astronomical prices on European watches ?) I don't remember where I saw that statement about vintage US watches becoming more popular over the other side of the pond.....but has anyone else heard that or noticed it in passing ? ......and I have noticed that the wrist watch prices are creeping up ......kinda slowly ....but the up
I'm selling my Grand Speedway, and when I went to pack it up in the original box etc., I noticed the date was a day off. When I went to set the date, it wouldn't change, and while turning the crown, it felt as though something was stripped internally. I could tell it was trying to turn the date over, but wouldn't do it.Has anyone else had this happen? If so, is it a fairly cheap fix or should I just tell the buyer it's broke and throw the watch away? I refuse to sell damaged goods, so I was going to swing by my watchmaker to have it repaired, but he isn't in on Mondays. I've only worn the watch a handful of times since buying it several months ago, and haven't set the time/date since I first received it. Not sure what caused this, but it's frustrating. Just glad it did to me before the buyer bought it and had the problem shorty after receiving it.
Hi,I have a 12 year old Seamaster which I wear every day (and sometimes at night!). My first service came about year 6 when the watch just stopped. The second service came about year 9 after unacceptable loss of time. The shop suggested that I may not be able to service the watch a third time?Is this consistent with anybody else's experience? If not, what is the life expectancy of a Seamaster?
Gents,Got this in the mail today. Had a laugh. It showed me all the watches they used to produce but no longer send to their ADs.Should have just showed 34OPs, TT datejusts, and diamond dialed ladies models. Happy holidays watch lovers.......Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
