I think I've seen 2 different versions of the all-black Khaki King Scuba. One had the day/date wheels in black, and Automatic in red, and the other has white wheels and Automatic in white. Does anyone know the current version, and what's available? Thanks
Hi Guys, ......got a shipment of watches from my Michigan watch guy, .....and in it was this interesting Benrus ......( I had completely forgotten what watches I still had in Michigan ....Christmas ! ) I about fell over when I took the movement out ....it's bright copper color......and verrrrrrrry clean .......I have no idea about this watch ......60s ? do you think ? and the movement says DR2F.....and it's a Swiss movement.......the crystal is divided into quarters, each part angles down ......I can't tell, but does anyone think it might be the orginal band ?
Worked an off duty security detail today at a AT&T store. The new Iphone came out today and people were getting a little nutty. So, it gave me a good opportunity to see what people were wearing. First, one of the employees was wearing a nice Tag chrono dive watch. He actually does use it for diving, and showed me how the bezel rotated. Next, the husband of an attorney I know wandered in with his 40 year old OP Date. He said he's been wearing it every day since HS. He has it "tuned" up once in awhile and it looked like new. Lastly, a young man came in with a Panerai. I didn't have the chance to speak with him but I assumed IT was genuine as he hopped into a new Beemer. Last week at a detail a couple came in the store with matching Presidents, complete with diamond bezels. I was sporting my AK today. The gentleman with the Rollie seemed to like it.
