Patrizzi Talks Only Watch 2009 Video
Really soon (6pm on September 24th) it will be time for the Only Watch 2009 watch auction. I summed up the detail a bit here, and here. Click there to get the specs on it all. Frankly I am a bit tired of writing "Only Watch" 2009, but just because there has been so much to say about it. The concept is really cool; your favorite watch makers need to make special unique watches that are then sold to the super elite, and the money goes to charity. The auction is held at the Monaco Yacht show every other year.Charity is nice and all, but for me it is all about the crazy watches they the brands came up with. This year there will be 34 watches auctioned off. For a watch to be part of the auction it must be the very first in a limited edition (1/XXX), or a totally unique watch specially made for the event. I really enjoyed seeing what the brands put out there, and I look forward to smirking at the prices that will be achieved for the timepieces. There is going to be a heavy amount of alcohol

Value of DeVille
I have a good friend who's father passed away about 10 years ago. His watch, an Omega DeVille, is pictured below. I told my friend that I would see if the watch had any value (besides sentimental).Can anyone give me any idea of it's worth, and when it was made?

Is 5990/1A a legitimate Nautilus?
I was always wanting to acquire a 5990/1A to complete my Nautilus collection as I have Nautilus obsession. And my AD called me yesterday to let me know I can have one in about two months also. He's nice enough to let me in to try on the one they have to be delivered to another client(I am the next!). The watch is cool, feels flatter than my 5980 and larger (due to a slimmer bezel?). I think I won't have any doubt if I am first time Nautilus buyer. But there are two issues bothering me: 1.somehow because of the dial color and design, it makes me think 5990 is an aquanaut instead. 2. This watch has no visible screw holes on both ears---two dual time pushers on the left side, two chrono pushers on the right side. This completely changed the look of 5990 for me, making me doubt if it is still a Nautilus. Folks, what are your thoughts? Would be glad to know!

So just bought a new macro lens for my sony a6300. First subject is my 116500, really enjoy on wearing it the past 3 weeks. Of course there's a lot of close up photos out there, but it's totally different when it¡¯s your own DayC A bit yellowish since it was getting dark here and not enough daylight.
