Ebel 1216038 wrist watches news:
Hello, I'm new to the watch forum. I didn't even know there was a watch forum, but I stumbled across it, and now, I need some help !I've got a Stainless, Submariner Date (168000), that is in dire need of some tender loving care. My watch was purchased back in Nov 1987, and since that time, has been back to Rolex 3 times, for service, all in the late 80's, or early 90's, and all for an adjustment to the date (wasn't centered in the window), and the time was running slow. At that time, I personally delivered my watch, to Rolex Watches USA, Inc. in New York, two times, and mailed it to them once. While in their hands, they put a terrible scratch on the case, and when notified, didn't seem to care. Needless to say, I am reluctant to send it back to the NY facility, again. Is the best bet, for a complete restoration, to go back to one of the Rolex Authorized Service Centers (New York or Dallas), or somewhere else ?I'm not a big collector. I just want my Sub, brought back to life, and
Long time lurker, first time poster...Does anyone have any opinions about the Swiss Legend T8010 in terms of mechanical quality and finish? It looks like an interesting watch, but I'd like to hear what the resident experts have to say.Details: Tungsten case, sapphire crystal, Swiss Made ETA G10.211 Quartz Chronograph MovementThanks in advance!
Hi guys,I have really started to take an interest in the Omega Planet Ocean line and I am finding all of the different models a bit confusing to organize in my head. I am sure I could research it, but sometimes it is better to ask the experts:)I am also coming from the Rolex world, where other than the LVc, the SS Submariner (option-wise) is much like the Model T...you can have any color and bracelet option you want as long as it is black on oyster. Here is what I have gathered so far... (Models Currently in Production)1. There are two possible movements: 2500 or 8500, but does the movement determine the bezel material? It seems like 2500 is an aluminum bezel, but 8500 is a ceramic bezel (but not necessarily liquid metal).2. There are two possible sizes: 42mm and 45.5mm, but are both sizes available in both aluminum and ceramic bezel models?3. There are a couple dial options: White 6,9,12 or Orange 6,9,12, but are they both available with all bezel and size options?4. I understand the l
the movement name should be enough to click the post .. because it is a gorgeous icon :-)And yes, for me this is more beautiful than a Datogrpagh. I do love the Dato too but imo it's a bit overdonethe blue screws are imo a bit too much
Hello my friends, I would like to share with some pics of a beautiful 5711P I had the luck to see. This watch is fantastic and the blue of its dial is very different from the steel version one. So, enjoy and congratulations to its owner! and the ideal trio to finish
