Panerai PAM163 wrist watches news:
Below you'll find a watch winner report from Caroline H., who was one of three lucky winners in the December 2012 watches-dealer Frederique Constant trip and watches giveaway. She was one of the second prize winners who received her own Frederique Constant watch of choice. Below you'll see her thoughts on her new Frederique Constant Classics 315 timepiece. Thanks to her and everyone else who participates in the monthly giveaways."Looking at FC's extensive collection and trying to choose one or two watches was extremely difficult! I wanted a woman's automatic, but I also wanted some complication or special display that I wasn't likely to acquire any other way (at least until I won another contest at watches-dealer). In short, I could hardly wait to see which of my four very different watch choices Fr¨¦d¨¦rique Constant would select for me. When the box arrived there was a tantalizing amount of packaging froufrou to wade through.Once I got past the beautiful leather box I was delighted to
Hey guys!I usually hang out in the American Forum but I was hoping that the Omega experts would be able to help me out. I bought this 1918 Omega trench watch case in a job lot of watches, I actually was not even interested in this one until I took it apart. I was pleasantly surprised that it had an Omega makers mark! It's a four piece case. The top bezel is threaded so it unscrews to reveal two more inner parts that come apart. The inner case lugs side onto the outer part of the bottom of the case. I have taken pictures so show how it is pieced together for assembly. There is not a material stamp on the case or other parts anywhere but I believe it to be made of Aluminum possibly? Feels too light to be made of silver. All of the case stamps are matching at 5988658 dating it to 1918. Didn't Borgel make this type of case during the WWI period? It measures 43mm lug to lug and 35mm across. The ID of the inside movement holder measures 29.30mm (Lignes size 13). I can't find any reference to
...please do not take this as a shilling...I really tried and even asked some esteemed moderators, no luck thus far.I am selling this watch for my dad and dad-being-dad, misplaced all the booklets and cards. I have this watch listed up for auction but cannot find its proper model number. I have already received some serious interest about the watch, but I can't answer the questions about the exact model number.Your help will be greatly appreciated.T.I.A !!M.
