Emporio Armani AR2045 wrist watches news:
Hello, I'm new to the watch forum. I didn't even know there was a watch forum, but I stumbled across it, and now, I need some help !I've got a Stainless, Submariner Date (168000), that is in dire need of some tender loving care. My watch was purchased back in Nov 1987, and since that time, has been back to Rolex 3 times, for service, all in the late 80's, or early 90's, and all for an adjustment to the date (wasn't centered in the window), and the time was running slow. At that time, I personally delivered my watch, to Rolex Watches USA, Inc. in New York, two times, and mailed it to them once. While in their hands, they put a terrible scratch on the case, and when notified, didn't seem to care. Needless to say, I am reluctant to send it back to the NY facility, again. Is the best bet, for a complete restoration, to go back to one of the Rolex Authorized Service Centers (New York or Dallas), or somewhere else ?I'm not a big collector. I just want my Sub, brought back to life, and
OK, keep the flame-throwers at bayBut is anyone else disappointed at how Omega handled the Basel releases this year? Hardly a mention of it on their website, and all they're advertising is the moon-walk watch. They have a quick text blurb saying to honor the Apollo 11 mission they're having their main event on Saturday. Sounds good, glad to hear they're honoring the astronauts & that so many will be at the event. But it's now Sunday - where's the info on the Omega website about the 'big event'?There's a couple of the watches in the "What's New" section. But the what's new section also have models released a year ago (Note to Omega: a year is NOT that new)...I just don't get it. Unless they've finally learned not to make hype out of models that they're releasing but the public won't see for a year or so. Like the new Aqua Tera released in Basel '08 & since they never got the TT & gold versions to the public - hey, let's release it yet again at Basel '09!Anyways, anyon

Looking to get your input on whether you guys think there is another one and only daily !!! I currently have a sub c blue sunburst... aka Bluesy!!!IÖª currently looking and exploring the idea of a SD4K!!!Is there another Diver as an only one you would choose ?Ok , the Bluesy ticks all the boxes and IÖª not in a position to go 116618LB the ultimate yet !!! Unfortunately I know there³Õ the Sub LN and ND Sub and various Sea Dwellers.Just curious as to what the forum would vote for. SD4K in question is the 116600 Ceramic BNIB ... Bluesy is colorful yes...IÖª just looking and exploring other options if you will ... trying to post a poll . Hopefully I can figure it out ... Ok 4 to choose from ... If there is another reference you can think of let me know ... PM is not an option at the moment...
