I'm about to buy either an AP RO 15300 or a SS Daytona, but I've heard that servicing the AP would be too expensive.How much should a service cost for each watch?I'm thinking that both are expensive to service and that the AP is probably more expensive, but by how much? Hey everyone new to the forum just wanted to know if anyone has a info or a link to somewhere that lists out the differences between serials on the Royal Oak specifically Rubberclad between G series and H seriesI see the Chrono second hand is White (G) vs Silver (H)Same for the AP logo white v silverThe date window the G has white with black writing and H has black with white writing And the numbers seem to be more bright white on H vs G they are little tinted yellow in which you can tell they will Glow in the dark Are there more differences? is this something that's just between G and H or they just happen to be different serials but do not define the change. How long does it take you to set your perpetual calendar w/ moonphase?
I noticed PP offers several watches with perpetual calendars and a moonphase that are manual wind. Unless this is a daily watch or a daily task of winding you don't mind doing, these watches will need to be reset correctly before each use. Some enjoy setting their watches, but a PC w/moonphase takes longer. So just a friendly question of how long does it take you to set your PC moonphase watches? 2nd follow on q: While I'm sure almost all of us would love to have a PP perpetual calendar, would the manual wind PC give you second thoughts about a particular model and lead you to focus on perpetuals that are automatic?
