- This is a nice watch. Style is great. Comfort is nice. Difficult seeing the hands at night or in the dark. Could be better if hands could glow in the dark or light was brighter.

Franck Muller 1200 CH wrist watches news:
While we're all avid followers of everything SIHH, very few of us reached for our wallets when we saw the Zeitwerk Minute Repeater (let's take a collective sigh together and move on). Now, here's a scenario: You or someone you know is due to break into the world of mechanical wrist-wear by buying a classically-oriented dress watch. Let's also assume that you want to go Swiss, because of say...your penchant for national pedigree. You can spend quite a bit of time saving for an Ultra Thin Moonphase or, assuming that you're at least 30 years old, for a Villeret (like the one that we covered a few days ago). A third option is that you can indulge sooner and spend your entry-level years actually wearing a watch instead of waiting to wear one. Zin's previous post about dress watches got me thinking. When I get my speedy, if I was to put a nice alligator strap on it would it be nice enough for formal wear? Do you think that even on the bracelet could it pull off formal wear? I'm not in a suit and tie very often, so I figure buying a dress watch is a bit of a waste for me. I'm much more into sport watches, so I was hoping that I could find one that could pull off all occasion with a simple strap change. Lets hear your opinions. Thanks,Dave
My watchmaker just became an AD and I picked this watch up today. Stainless back, nylon fiber body and aluminium bezel- all sitting on a NATO strap. I barely feel it there
unbelievable but this one sat in the bank vault for several monthsstill imo one of the best Patek ever made but the last several months I wore other watches.Untill yesterday I realized this beauty needed some wrist time :-)It is ofcourse personal choice but I looked at many high end chronographs in the past and not one Breguet, VC, Lange, or whatever even comes close
We are all aware of the trend of women wearing larger men's watches, and I'd like to buy something like that for my wife for Christmas. What have you all seen or done that works well, in terms of a men's watch for a woman? JCATT
