Franck Muller 8005 CC KING wrist watches news:
The Buckley Report: Bad World Economy = Strong Watch Market?????
Here is my latest restore project that I just got. It was in very bad condition; case scratches, crystal scratches, dial edges need some help. The movement is a 715. To my surprise there were a few small black dots on the watch case that I thought was dirt but would not clean off. It was not dirt it was tiny welded beads that where bubbled dots. I was able to get them off ¡°used a file¡± and polish them out and that¡¯s the beauty of Stainless Steel. How the heck did the small weld bead dots get there did someone get electrocuted with this watch on? I hope I did not buy a cursed watch! Overall I¡¯m happy with the end results.
As a follow-up to my wonderful thread started way back when of putting a Rubber B on a PAM 233 (dot dial), I present to you this new PAM 233 of mine with a new rubber strap made by Horus Straps.Notes:1. No steel tubes used2. Retained new clasp3. Rubber is more flexible than Rubber B4. Colored pattern is only on top & sides of Horus, not underneath (it's not set all the way through the band)So far I'm liking it!
Any suggestions on where to get a used GMT authenticated in the San Jose area?Thank you
I just acquired a F95...serial. How can I tell if it has the solid end links? Thanks in advance from a new owner. Is there anything you all can educate me about the details of my new watch? What would it's fair market value be with full set? Thanks in advance!
