- It's a nice, beautiful watch, and at a very good price, but the face and bracelet of the watch seem more suited for a man's arm. Great for a average to large build woman. For women on the petite side, this watch will swallow you.

- Beautiful watch with wonderful details. Like other watches selling for thousands more. I recommend it if you are looking for luxury watch style without paying Cartier-prices.

Girard Perregaux Girard Perregaux 2785 wrist watches news:
It is no surprise to any of you that I am a big fan of LUM-TEC watches. A company here in the US with designs and models that just keep getting better. Really dedicated to constant refinement of their line, and continually offering a slew of limited edition models that have a special ability to make our eyes widen with desire. Here are a few shots of the soon to be released Lumzilla line. A big watch with an automatic movement and a lot of personality. The grade 316L stainless steel case is going to be a large 50mm wide and 100 meters water resistant. The crystal on both sides will be sapphire and "super" anti-reflective coated on the dial for nice glare-free viewing (a must). LUM-TEC's MDV (maximum darkness visibility) lume just keeps getting better. The Lumzilla comes with the newest generation LUM-TEC MDV GX luminant on the hands and dial. You can tell how richly the luminant has been applied. The cases is also available in a black PVD coated version. The Lumzilla uses a Japanese auto
I am on the verge of getting a BNIB 'V' serial Sea Dweller from my AD in the next few weeks. However I have today seen (and tried on) the Breitling Avenger Sea Wolf.I confess to not usually being a Breitling fan as I tend to find them too "bling" and too large for my tastes. However, the SW has really grabbed me despite it's (to me) huge 44mm x 18.4mm and weighing in at 102g.I tried on the blue dial version (which is a very grey/blue and almost black/grey in certain light). I was bowled over by it's superb build quality and the general "feel" of it.I love the tool like simplicity of the dial and the crown, winding, setting time etc was smooth as silk and (dare I say it!) better than any Rolex or Omega I've ever owned! The Ti case & bracelet made it a very light watch for it's proportions and if anything added rather than deterred from it's feel of quality and solidity. The legibility of the dial was excellent too.All in all I was very impressed.Thing is I don't know about the size?I th
What do you say?The subject seems to be very debatable whether the Patek 5711 is a good sporty watch to be worn with shorts and casual attire, and as a daily beater, or more of a sporty but dress watch.I already own a SS Rolex which serves the purpose of a beater when I am worried the PP could take a beating.I don't plan on wearing the PP on any physical activities, mountain climbing, to the gym, etc. Just day to day chores, going out with the mates, having drinks at the bar, traveling, etc.I don't play sports with a watch anyways. How do you think the watch holds up as a daily wearer? How do you think the watch looks with just shorts or jeans and a t-shirt.Post pictures of your 5711 treated as a daily wearer. Thanks all
Can anyone comment, on how different are the blue dials that are available on the SS version of DJ and Sky-D? If someone has seen both the watches in person? Looking at the pictures on the Rolex's website, there seems to be a slight difference. The blue dial of Sky-D has a bit of shimmer. But they don't mention if there is any difference. In person they might be more similar than when looking at the pictures online!?I was lucky to get an SS Sky-D with black dial. However, haven't tried any Rolex with blue dial yet. So wanted to get opinions. Maybe get a DJ in future with blue dial.
I¡¯m not going to go in depth , as there are specs & tech info all over this forum & elsewhere.I bought the SRSD sight unseen.Apart from its ¡°tool¡± watch presence it¡¯s also a very attractive (dare I say) ¡°pretty¡± watch. Lots of ceramic (plus crystal) reflections as well as the ¡°bling¡± of an unscratched metal bracelet. Is the ROLEX steel brighter than normal stainless steel or am I just looking at it through Rise-Coloured-Glasses?...I can¡¯t stop looking at it & admiring all the many details I know I¡¯ll fall in love with over time. As for the cyclops, sure it¡¯d be perfect without one, but certainly not a deal breaker at all.The balance is perfect as the back sits into my wrist so fits even better than I expected. I had an original SD (before the SD4K) & lusted after one for 6 years before I could buy one...this is my return to RLX as a brand & am loving every second of my new ¡°baby¡±.For everyone on a waiting list or seriously considering- you won¡¯t tegret it.
