Mechanical Durability
Since I'm somewhat new to this, especially when it comes to Mechanical watches, my question is, how durable are they?Is it possible to wear my vintage Bulova (Or any other Mechanical watch I will aquire in the future ) for more than everyday use? Is it okay to use for hard work, like carpentry? As a drummer (Not a terribly hard hitter though), is it safe to use while playing? Or mild sports events, like Volleyball?Not that I do these things everyday, but as a wearer of mostly Quartz watches, this is something that I've never had a problem with, so I didn't have to think about it.It appears that this Bulova has been around the block so to say (And could use a new crystal for sure) and has seen some rough days before it came into my possession, but I want to hear from the experienced here. Thanks!
