Girard Perregaux Girard Perregaux 48654 wrist watches news:
Atomic clock radio signal syncing watches are so last year. Citizen just decimated the coolness factor of those watches with the Satellite Eco-Drive watch. This timepiece isn't just a concept, but will actually be produced as a limited edition later this year - and may have its tech show up in later watches. In a nutshell, the watch keeps its time super accurate from syncing with the navigational satellites that orbit Earth as opposed to syncing with radio signals that are broadcasted from local atomic clocks.Atomic clocks lose one second of time every 100,000 years or something like that. Maybe even longer. The point is that you'll be long dead before they are off by even a fraction of a second. Your standard quartz watch movement is accurate to within about 15 seconds a month. Syncing to an atomic clock is a good idea, and has traditionally been done in watches that do this by relying on radio signals that atomic clocks emit. Hi GuysI'm new to the forum. I have a "Bond" SMP which I have had for 12 months and never get sick of admiring. Has anyone got any pictures or coments of a SMP on a leather strap. Much as I like my steel bracelet I think that a different strap might be a nice change from time to time.
I felt it was my patriotic duty to spend my tax rebate on something that would help stimulate our economy. After many weeks of consideration, I decided to go with a classic that is now discontinued. So last night I pulled the ole trigger on a SMP (2254.50). With price increases and soon-to-be limited availability, I felt this model is a "must-have." Also, while my AD offered me 15% off (with 7% sales tax), I picked mine up for almost 30% off and no sales tax. It's scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Pics will follow.
