Girard Perregaux 49900-0-11-4144 wrist watches news:
The?vast?potential?of?the smartwatch market is apparently now bringing some complete outsiders to this 21st century branch?of watchmaking. One of these early adopters is?Giltwatches-dealer, a major, US-based online shopping site?that just announced it is teaming up with designer Michael Bastian and tech-giant Hewlett-Packard to design and engineer what will officially ¨C and somewhat weirdly ¨C be called the Michael Bastian Smartwatch. As most of the news about smartwatches does at this point, the Michael Bastian Smartwatch promises us the world and some more ¨C but whether or not it will deliver is something we will only see at the end of the year. Gilt opted to announce their first watch with just two rather secretive images, which makes believing their high hopes all the more difficult.?Before getting to the rather?optimistic?list of features and promises of Gilt's first?smartwatch, however, let's take a step back to see what?are the reasons for us?to remain highly realistic when it com
Guys,This watch is my #1 dream watch. It is absolutely stunning, with its large size and beautiful strap. This would be a no brainer buy for me, however the hefty MSRP puts it so far outside of my budget that I can't justify the cost.I spoke to a couple traders in London who said they sell for around ?75,000 (120,000 USD) almost new (1 year old). This got me thinking. If they are indicating a price of ?75k, then I think the watch can possibly be had for significantly less than their indicative price. From my limited experience, these traders tend to ask for quite high prices, so if they are starting at ?75k then I can't help but think there is still more room to negotiate. What do you guys think this watch could be had for via a grey dealer new or lightly used? I checked chrono24 and the prices were far too high. Before eliminating this as a potential option, I wanted to ask you guys. Thanks
To be brief: I'm considering a Patek Philippe Aquanaut, which seems to be in the lower echelon of their lineup, and for the same money I can buy a mid-to-higher range Rolex. So what I'm asking, and please realize that I am almost completely ignorant regarding PP, is what makes them so special? Why is the Patek Philippe Aquanaut made of stainless and $20k and for the same money I can get an 18k & stainless Rolex Sub with a diamond dial? Knowing they are based in experience I regard your opinions as solid gold.Thank you.
Just saw an ad on Watchnet for the 587. Was excited till I saw the asking. 15K over sticker. WOW 😳ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415397026.490589.jpg
Hello again all!I will be visiting Los Angeles California soon, and am wondering if there is anything watch related that you guys and gals would recommend as a place to visit?Anything in LA, or generally close to LA is viable I just want to see if I can make a few stops at watch places, and see and learn something new It doesn't have to be Rolex, and a place where they sell used or vintage watches would be interesting too.I guess I could sit and google things, but with so many experts on here, I want to hear your input! Many thanks in advance
