- Beautiful watch! Love it and I get so many compliments on it! My only upset is that because it is rose gold "plated", the normal everyday wear and tear is more noticeable. I work at a desk all day and am hardly rough on my jewelry, but I have noticed the underside of the watch getting slightly marked up. This started happening within a week or two of wearing it. It is only on the underside, and of course I'm the only one who notices it, but this was my concern from the beginning about getting a "plated" watch. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid of the marks or how to prevent them, I would be happy to hear it! Overall, love the watch! But again, just a little disappointed that such a high quality and expensive watch could get discolored so easily.

Girard Perregaux 25990-0-53-6056 wrist watches news:
Ball watches have been really popular that last few years ago and are probably the nicest watches (at least from a price perspective) to feature tritium gas tubes in their watches. All of their watches feature the wonder lume, that is made exclusively by MB Microtec in Switzerland. They are small tubes filled with (safe) radioactive material. Ball watches probably makes the best use out of them versus other companies I know to use the luminant. The best part is that they don't need any light to charge and glow for like 25 years.I am not going to go into much detail when talking about these watches as there are too many of them, and you can get lots of little details about each watch from Ball directly.? Careful though. You might be drawn to tears! Last time I was at their site they started playing Amazing Grace. So I saw these watches last June in Las Vegas at the JCK show. These are my favorite of the Ball watches that I was able to see there. Overall these are some very nice watches
This week's Bring A Loupe will present to you an outstanding Vacheron Constantin with a glorious case. Then comes a round-up of great tool watches, but here is the catch - none are from Rolex. Instead we preferred to surprise you with some less expected watches from Aquastar, IWC, and Universal Geneve - all fantastic in their own right. This is your Bring A Loupe for October 9, 2015. A Rare Vacheron Ref. 4790 With An Incredible Case 1 OF 11 The case of this Vacheron Constantin deserves a good close look: I have rarely seen such an interesting build in such dreamy condition. The articulated lugs are absolutely spectacular, especially complemented by this intact case. Interestingly, the pink-gold case has a very modern 20 mm lug width, and it is almost 40 mm long, including lugs. I actually discovered in a previous auction that this Vacheron houses the famed 1001 movement, engineered from a Jaeger-LeCoultre ebauche and showcasing impeccable finishing. This Vachero
I've been thinking about this for about a year, but I want to get 1 watch that I could wear my entire life with pride regardless of whether I am extremely wealthy or just starting out. I think I am going to go with something simple and classic, like this:Thoughts? I was also considering the 5146:but I think the 5146 is the kind of watch you get if you collect watches and not if you're looking for a simple, timeless piece to wear for a lifetime. What kind of image does the 5127 and 5146 project? They seem like watches for very different kinds of people. Who wears what kind of watch?
Hi everyone, I thought I'd introduce myself :) A big hello from the United Kingdom.
Greetings everybody.Just started getting into wristwatches as a hobby so I'm trying to learn as much as I can. I wanted to ask for some suggestions for a dress watch about $1500. My first instinct was to get a Tag Heuer, but I've been reading some conflicting things saying that your just paying for the name and advertising and besides it seems like everyone I know has one. Other people say that they are solid watches that keep their value. One of the other watches I'm considering is the Seiko Ananta SPB015...SEIKO AnantaHowever I don't think Seiko has the reputation as some of the other watch brands. So any other suggestions would be appreciated. I'm looking for dress watch with day/date function and an automatic movement. Leather strap or bracelet.Suggestions can be for new or used. Which leads me to my second question. Are there any websites for buying and selling used watches other than WTF?Thanks in advance for your help.
