- I received my watch like 2 weeks ago and I can't stop wering it. Everyone asks where did i but, price and so on. The size, shape, color is perfect. So the diamonds are tiny but for a everyday wearing are perfect, I love it.

Anyone have a name for this 1927 Illinois
This watch has been handed down in the family and I'm interested in any infomation anyone may have. I know that Hamilton picked up production of Illinois in 1927 but that's about all the info I have. I just love poor vendor photos at ebay.Despite an excellent example of poor photos I recognised this Automatic K-402 (complete with original bracelet!!!) from an old thread at WTF <<HERE>>. I'd been wanting one ever since I saw that thread so I couldn't hit the Buy It Now button quickly enough!....and here's what it should look like (from the previous thread). How about the textured finish around the minutes; all those fancy modern day carbon fibre finishes are imitating something that's more than 50 years old!

We'll what an eventful and fruitful day, travelled to our capital city of Cardiff in pursuit of my first choice a seadweller anniversary, if that was not going to be possible,which it became abundantly clear (5 year waiting list at Fraser Hart) then I was prepared to consider the DSSD black or my favourite out of the 2 the DSSD deep blue.After speaking with the dealer at Fraser Hart I enquired about waiting lists for the black and blue only to be told roughly 6 weeks which I was prepared to wait.I along with my good lady attended at Watches of Switzerland and was told a story that was very similar, during my conversation with the dealer Anita, her colleague informed her that a deep blue version was available for me to try, but it was to be purchased tomorrow by someone who had bought a DSSD black whilst the blue was on order, I tried the watch on, fell in love with it, put my name on their list and left the store content with what I was going to eventually purchase.My wife and I went t
