Cartier W5310013 wrist watches news:
Hello all!I recently acquired a Hamilton Pacer. It wasnt running and in very rough shape. Here is the "before"Photo Jan 12, 8 14 31 PM.jpgIf anything, it looked worse in person.I was going to send it to Rene Rondeau but he isnt taking work right now so I reached out to Hamilton expert Dan Keefe of the Hamilton Chronicles and he suggested Richard Awiza. Richard is very friendly and helpful over emai. We agreed on the following workRebuild movement including new contact wiresNew crystal Refinish dialRefinish handsPolish bezel and caseFor this, he quoted $300 which i thought was VERY reasonable, bordering on cheap! :)I got it back today. it is running great and Richard threw in a vintage JB Champion croc grain band for FREE!Check this out:Photo Jan 12, 7 54 14 PM.jpgPhoto Jan 12, 8 21 01 PM.jpgIt came out better then I could've hoped. I highly recommend Richard for any Hamilton Electric work!
I currently own a Hamilton GE Savitar II electric watch. I am wondering what the original strap or band was for this version of the Savitar II. In Rene Rondeau's most recent edition of his book, on page 196, there is a picture of this watch with a brown leather or lizard strap. However, I'm wondering if it could have come with the original gold tone Savitar II bracelet. Appreciate all of your feedback on this one. If anyone out there has an original gold tone Savitar II bracelet for sale, please contact me at simplexity11@hotmail. Thanks!Best,Will
Good day to everyoneMy cousin has recently purchased a royal oak in good conditons year 1975 serial B.However the dial is not the original and the AP is at twelve instead of six.Do you guys have any idea where we can buy an original dial?Your help would be very appreciated Thanks
Hello allI am new to these forums and very much not a watch expert, though I have the good fortune to own a nice Rolex, Daytona 6263.I am currently considering selling this watch. However, though I would like the cash it will pain me to part with the watch. So to soften the blow what I am considering is using some of the money to purchase another, cheaper Rolex -- depending on the price I can get for the 6263, I might be looking to spend around €10k - €20k.I am quite attached to the appearance of the Daytona. So my question is, are the (relatively) cheaper, newer Daytona models good value for money? And will the value appreciate over time? Thanks in advance for all replies that don't use too much expert jargon that I won't understand! :)
Anyone wearing a sky dweller and found inconvenient when travelling difference time zone frequently? I guess there is Pros and Cons. GMT is useful and quick adjusted to local time by turning just the bezel while need to unscrew on the sky dweller when we get into different time zone. Especially inconvenient to frequent traveller.Any thought?
