Girard Perregaux Girard Perregaux 1536 wrist watches news:
How do you guys feel about the wording ROLEX and seriel# that is now on the inside of the submariner watches and others. Should I look for a used sub without it or not be concerned and get a new one with it?Thanks
hello I just got a watch for free from my friend it did not work so i but a battery in it. Well know the stop watch function of the watch works but the hands don't move. so when i press the two buttons for the stop watch it stops and starts, but there is no minute or hour had ticking away. My friend said that when he got it it stop working within a week. I am still learning to fix my own watches so anything you can do to help me would help allot. thanks dudes pictures attached the model is 241126
I recently sold my Rolex YG PN Daytona on black strap because, as beautiful as it was, I couldn't read it (I know, have my Lasik touched up!) and because I prefer a brown strap. Presently all my watches are on bracelets and I would really like to add a strap reference.Although I recently acquired a SS 15400 (7.5 wrist), which I love, the same model in rose gold with the brown alligator strap is simple and beautiful. And as I prefer a dressier watch without complications, they could easily coexist in my collection. With BNIB prices in the 24k range,it seems like a good deal.Obviously the AP bug has bitten me and I know it is my choice to make but I respect the experience and expertise of my fellow forum members. Feel free to express your thoughts.BTW- I have posted a few new aquisitions this year but they have been a result of my selling off my Daytonas for the aforementioned reason.
There are several of this model on the internet (known companies), all roughly the same price: 24K or so. I realize I may need to have the one I eventually buy serviced.I tried one on in local tourneau (they were asking 30K plus for one in only fair condition, no papers) and the wife and I really liked the pre-2007 model better than the new Officer's model. I included this link and text just for inspection: I may not buy from this company, or at all if there are issues with the model. 35mm..europeanwatch/19050.htmlMore about Patek Philippe Reference No. 5053R-001This is an 18K rose gold Patek Philippe Calatrava 5053R-001. I couldn’t believe how great and handsome this watch was when my AD offered it to me. I sold my blnr and ended up wanting it again so it was between this and the blnr, looks like the sd43 won and I couldn’t be happier! The proportions on this watch are fantastic and fits like a 42mm. People say it can’t be a daily but I’ll be wearing mine everyday. My wrists are on the smaller side but I still like it. One downside I may have with it is getting it to fit not too snug or not too tight. But that red text adds so much character to the watch and yet it’s so subtle, I love it. All in all beautiful watch and happy to finally have it on my wrist! Also I took some iPhone X pics and it kept telling me the resolution was too big. Anyone know how to fix it this? Sorry novice photo poster :/. But I want to share wrist shots and would love to see what you guys think!
