- The band is a bit thick for the watch face. I had to have several links removed before it fit. But overall, it is a very nice looking watch.

Hamilton H76455933 wrist watches news:
Hi everyone, I've just joined this forum recommended by John B Holbrook, III'm ready to purchase my 1st Omega and my 1st piece MUST be a Seamaster, and have narrowed down my choice to 2 models; the 2254.80 or the 2225.80 I'm not sure whether the 2225.80; the chronograph function was made to be used actively for timing purposes, or whether it is more a case of adding to the complication of the movement and beauty of the watch (for those partial to chronographs).Any thoughts or advice?
Some time back I mentioned ordering and receiving a JL 7751 moon phase watch. You may recall the second hand had fallen off.I dragged my feet for a week or so trying to decide whether to return the watch for a refund, or have it repaired.I heard good things about SWI's CS, so I opted to have it repaired. I shipped it back to SWI with a short note and original invoice. The watch was returned to me in about 2 weeks, in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier with the service I have received. We often are quick to point out when we receive poor or no CS, so I thought it was important to report the good as well..-Pete
Im in a bit of a dilemma, basically I'm looking to purchase an AP Diver, but do i buy it from here(australia) or wait a couple of weeks and and when i travel to the states shop around and buy one there?my price i received in australia is $14500 my question is how much is a AP Diver in states(California area) retail and how are is the discounting? also is there stock?i know the rough price of a diver selling on the forum is 14k? is that relatively a good deal? or can u receive a bigger discount in some places?
.........a Nautilus problem that is.Ok, let me start off by saying, that my dreams are haunted by this freaking watch.....had a chance to fondle a 5711 a few weeks ago and it may have given me some kind of a virus.....I remember posting here a few years back, something like patek does nothing for me, that statement still remains, however, the only watch I'm absolutely obsessed with is the Nautilus.I'm contemplating the unthinkable here boys.........consolidating.Am I crazy.I may need to be pimpslapped by some one.
I didn't really anticipate this purchase, being a mostly vintage Rolex, Omega, Hamilton-sort-of-collector, but fell in love with it after a long trip to Tuscany last week (actually I had tried on the rose gold version, and that of the 42mm Radiomir 1940, in Firenze). I ended up in Boca Raton over the weekend, and paid a visit to the Panerai boutique...The 42mm size is perfect for my medium-small (6.75) wrist. I couldn't really wear one of the larger PAMs. Being thin and very light, it's extremely comfortable. And I love the O.E.M. honey alligator strap that the salesman threw into the deal. Much better suited to the watch than the glossy black one that comes with it, IMO.The cal. P.999/1 is keeping perfect time so far. Here's a lume shot!
