Hublot 301.CI.1770.GR wrist watches news:
Those of us who coveted the limited edition, super-expensive Seiko Spacewalk watch have a new hope. Check out the Seiko Prospex Landmaster Alpinist SBDB007 and SBDB005. The Spacewalk was beautiful and desirable, but extremely expensive at $28,000 for the consumer version. It was Seiko's answer to the space travel watch, and it was certainly tested in space. Now comes a new Spring Drive based watch that is almost like a little brother to the Spacewalk. The new Prospex Landmaster Alpinist is a limited edition also (but only for the black version I believe), but much more affordable and contains several of the design elements from the Spacewalk:Note the GMT hand shape, crown at twelve and emphasis on legibility. The '007 (nice model number, Seiko!) is a limited edition made for Yuichiro Miura, an 80 year old man who will attempt to summit Mount Everest. Miura will be the oldest person to climb Everest if he succeeds, I have to admire him for even being able to attempt it at that age.The pre
Does Seiko offer any watches like the 6138 and 6139 type watches. These watches sell in the $200 to $300 range for a vintage. Are there any newer models that are still produced?like the Diver range, which had the 7002 and later became the SKX007, is there anything like that for the Chronograph range? Automatic and affordable?I would like to get some more information and possibly get me one of the Seiko Auto Chronographs.Thank You for your help.
Any other fan of this beauty present in the forum ? I love it :D Bodiz
This came with a lot of Hammies (See my posting in the Hamilton Forum). At first I thought it was just a pink desk clock, then I noticed that the listing had said 'quartz watch'. It wasn't a quartz movement, it was made of pink quartz!I'm not sure who made it. The only thing on it is '8 days' and a serial number on the back. It doesn't work, but I personally think the pink quartz is cool. Has anyone ever heard of '8 days'?I think it looks 80'sI know it's not a wristwatch, but it's a manual-wind desk clock, maybe someone knows a bit more about it than I do.
Got an email from my boutique yesterday. They still can't confirm when, but they confirmed for certain that I'll be getting the snoopy speedmaster. It is likely that I'll be waiting a few more months, but I'm not in a rush. The waiting is half the fun. I've already paid for this years LE Speedmaster so I'm excited to begin building a little collection of Basel release LE speedmasters. Likely I'll get these two right around the same time. I know it's blasphemy, but there is a part of me that just wants to collect them and keep them in stickers, in the box. Im daydreaming about building a nice display case in my home office and having them and a few stickered up older Rolex watches sit pretty. Then just watching this collection grow over the years.
