Hublot 301.ST.5020.ST.1912 wrist watches news:
The subject says it all! I'm very interested in the Titan II model that Hamilton brought out in the early 60s. Was this an Arbib designed watch? It looks as though it belonged with the rest of them in the late 50s. Very odd that they decided to make it look absolutely NOTHING like the Titan I. What hands came on this watch? Did they stay the same or did they change? What price should I expect to pay for one in very good, running condition? Any flaws I should be wary of (the lugs look weak, ala Altair)...Cheers!
got another watch to add to my collection, its a Rousseau and has 35 jewels. it has day, date, and month and moon/sun indicator. the best part, i got it for 35 dollars. it looks great and runs too.
I am looking at getting a new dive watch under 3k. I am looking at a Breitling Superocean II 42mm and an Omega Seamaster Diver 300m 212.30.41.20.03.001. Am I missing a better option for my price range?
So, recently I was at my local Omega AD. Very lovely people I might add. I tried on a few ATs and strangely the one I fell in love with was the Quartz grey teak dial. The solid build and the solid caseback really won me over. They offered a nice discount to boot. Having always, or mostly, been a mechanical guy; I'm wondering if this is a good move. Any Quartz AT owners care to weigh in? I'm itchy to get one now but I wouldn't mind hearing the opinions of some folks who have one. Thanks!
