Guys,In order to prolong the lifetime of leather strap, the AD informed me that I should loosen it a little beat while wearing it...That would prevent the strap from overstretched... Would this really prolong the lifetime of the leather strap??Regards,

028 or 026?
I have a 028 but am thinking of making an exchange for a 026, knowing that I have a 233 and 82, what do you think would be better to complete the collection? Knowing that it's watches that I intend to wear, I haven't worn the 028 yet but feel the need to wear a third Pam.The 028 is more original, being a limited edition of the earlier model 28A and 28B, the 3 have a few differences.The 26 and 28 are both DLC, the first hand wound and the second auto.Of course the 26 is basically the same watch as my 82, just black and destro, but seems to me to be more in the Panerai classic DNA style.I put the 2 photos but am not sure they will be visible, if not here are the 2 links to the pages on the Panerai site for these 2 models. First rolex. what do you think?
What do you guys think of the Yachtmaster II white gold with platinum bezel 116689 pre facelift? It seems to be super rare which is cool, i like being unique. Seems to have some good future potential once discontinued but that's not a big factor for me. The second hand depreciation has me thinking of saving up for it (29-30k *asking* price ). Can they be had at less because of its lack of popularity I.E. larger discount??I love the fact that it's got a ton of PM in it making it super heavy. Anybody know if the sandblast bezel can be restored at rolex without replacing it? There's pics online of the YM1 gold or platinum bezels which seem to be damaged due to poor polishing. Curious about that topic on the YM2 in particular (not covered in rolex forums).I can't find any discussions in the forums which is really odd for a modern Rolex or 116689 owners to private msg some questions. Maybe someone could namedrop some owners? No personal review on google youtube except a couple watchuwant vi
