Found this Hamilton in the for sale forums. What does everyone think?
Finally, number four is this beautiful ~1940 Sentinel, with a butler finished roman numeral dial that is an older quality refinish $140 - this watch features a 17J 987S movement. The case is excellent with minor wear and a couple of tiny dings. Crystal is acrylic and new. Comes presented on a long leather band in brown. New member looking for a new watch
Hi all,I've been lurking here for a while now but I thought I'd finally register and ask for your advice on a new watch. Having looked at quite a few recently, I'm really taken by the look of the Hamilton Viewmatic 44mm:I'm hopefully going to head to a jewellers and try one out this weekend, but I think that my wrist is probably too small to comfortably accommodate such a large watch - 40mm is probably about the limit. Is there anything similarly styled of that size (with an automatic movement) for ¡ê400-600? The 40mm Viewmatic, while quite nice looking, doesn't look as slick to me as the larger version. I'll admit that I hadn't heard a great deal about Hamilton before I started researching, though they seem to be regarded as good quality for the money (though perhaps not as much at the prices we're charged for them here in the UK!).Many thanks for any advice you can give!

Elephant or Grey Ti44
I have been thinking of purchasing the Elephant, but just noticed the Grey titanium piece. I have yet to try on the 44, but I have a 7.25 wrist so I should be able to pull it off. Any thoughts from you guys as to which is the nicer piece for a grey watch?
