hi guys, any PO Chrono pics ? got back from AD and tried the PO Chrono. tat watch shouted at me like no one else is beside me. Beauty and sporty i must say. =D
I had my first Rolex as a gift from my father when I turned 15, it was a 34mm SS datejust. When I was 20 a friend of mine and I were mugged and my datejust went away along with his GMT "Pepsi".I turned to Cartier because Rolex's were getting to much attention (the wrong kind) in Mexico and have had a couple of them in the last 15 years.I recently decided to return to Rolex and gave myself as present for my 30th birthday, a white dial Explorer II. I looked at the Sub and GMTII, but the white dial just did it for me.Now that I have a sport model I am looking into buying a Rolex dress model in the future since most weekdays I wear a suit and even though the ExpII can pull that look I would like something dressier.Any recommendations? The Daydate II is just out of my price range and a 36mm model I believe is too small for me.I believe that only leaves the Datejust II and the Milgauss, right? Is there anything affordable with a leather bracelet? Thanks for the input.
Hey many years ago I picked up a Vintage Vacheron Constantin in stainless steel, I can post pics, and will I guess, but lets just say its a ringer for a Patek Calatrava 96? sub second hand at 6. It came with a pretty thick strap with white stitching (which I didn't care for) and at the time the internet was pretty small and options seemed to be few. I swapped it out b/c I wanted a deployment buckle with one I got from a jeweler that sold Breitling's, so it's been wearing a Breightling strap now for about 15 years. Anyway I was more impressed with the clasp then the strap at the time and to be honest it never seemed to look right. I have seen what comes on the Higher end watches now and wonder what would be more appropriate for this? I'm thinking of selling the Breiting strap/clasp since it "won't work" with my other watches but I need a replacement first. I no longer need a deployment type clasp but I wouldn't be opposed either. Oh and it hasn't been worn as an everyday watch for some
Has anyone ever dealt with these folks? If so.....any input? Or any recommendations for 42mm straps? Thanks gents...
