- Yes, this watch is very nice. After I removed the extra piece, it fit me just right. It did not color my skin, which I thought it might. It does nice sparkle as it did on TV, but its still beautiful

Hublot 322.lm.100.rx wrist watches news:
OK, here's a question for all you stainless steel Daytona lovers. At what price point do you sell your beloved Daytona's? Say you bought it for $7,900, or even an earlier price like $6,975 or $6,550. The new price with tax is about $10,500. So the pre-owned prices will probably go up a bit (though I doubt too much - they didn't move too far after the large increase in Mar. '08). What would it take for you to sell your Daytona? Is there really a price-tag to sell, or is it like a child - not for sale at any price? Let's hear your thoughts Oh, and just to be clear. No - you can't have mine
There is a used speedy pro (3570.50) at a reliable used-and-estate jewellery store near me. (The omegas are just about the lowest priced watches in the store. Crazy!) They have a couple of watchmakers working there, and do good service work. I'm relatively confident they have the skill and diligence to make sure it's not a fake. It's only a few years old, on the original bracelet. Excellent condition. The price is CAD $2,200 (About USD $1920).So I'm trying to decide if I should take the plunge, since this appears to be such a good deal. Or should I wait and pay almost twice as much to buy it new? That seems ridiculous, except that buying new seems "safer" somehow. So what do you say? How "safe" is it to buy from reputable used dealers versus new? Should the fact that it's used scare me? Or would I be stupid to let the deal go by?
O.K., here's something I've always had in the back of my mind, and, after reading this, I'm sure many of you will think it should have stayed there...How do you view, re-releases or remakes of classic watch designs? Hamilton has maintained many of its classic, history-making designs over the years. But, is a re-release, remake, or even a modern interpretation of a classic watch design somehow less legitimate because it's not one of the originals? Is a Ventura not really a Ventura unless it came from between 1957 and 1969? Are any of the American Classic series or the Piping Rock re-releases less legitimate than their forefathers, either because of their modern origins or their quartz movements? Some of this is a very emotionally driven perspective. I'll give you that, from a strict collector's standpoint, an original, historical piece, will have greater value and collect-ability than a re-release. If watch collecting is anything like fountain pen collecting, then next in line woul
