- My first Stuhrling watch. Its elegant, relatively lightweight but with a solid feel and looks more expensive than it really is. Can read the time easily day and night. The packaging was in a class of its own. Love it.

Hublot 301.CI.1123.GR wrist watches news:
I feel that my Yacht-Master's power reserve is less than it should be. I usually wear it on an alternating daily basis, and a few times it has stop within only a day.Any suggestions for the best and most accurate way to determine the true duration of it's power reserve; and also, is there any way to regulate or increase the power reserve, without sending it in for service???Thanks in advance for any suggestions, advise or replies.
I don't want to advertise any other sites but there was an incredible vintage Rolex auction earlier today. I'm hoping it's OK to post this as the auction is now finished as far as I can tell. Here's the link.mycatalog.antiquorum/lots...?auctionid=204you can see all the Lots with descriptions, expected prices and what they went for.I am blown away with how some of these have gone.Check out Lots 115, 145, 163, 177,193, 198 and my 2 favourites 201 & 209The Comex models are now up in the stratosphere. There's a lot of very rare Rollies in here and it's a great read if you're a fan.
I have to admit that I was a little bit let down that I was so busy this week and missed this:Hamilton Rodney With Box on Ebay$80,?. . .and with the box?>? I hope it was someone here who snagged it! I paid $150 for mine, serviced though, and it had no box! I would have probably sold one of the watches and come out a little ahead (and with a box!)Anyhow, this one came up and I jumped on it:Rodney inner AND outer boxes!Inner AND outer box! Outer box is a little beat up, but definitely workable. Pictures aren't as clear, but for $12 I think I did alright! What do you guys think? Now I just need to find the PERFECT strap for the Rodney. I put a plain black strap on it as soon as I got it (temporarily) but haven't found the right strap for it yet. So let's call this an "incoming PLUS show me your rodney straps" thread!-James
Ok, I wasn't planning on adding this to the collection. Saw it and had to have it. It's a fantastic watch! And the wrist shot:Posted these on another forum as well. So excited, I had to put these pics up here as well! :)
