As I sit in the lounge awaiting a non-stop flight to Houston, I can't help but contrast the banality of my upcoming flight against the razor's edge reality of flying an Apollo mission. I'll be flying in a modern aircraft, ferried from one computer-controlled terminal to another, in relative comfort.
