Panerai has re-launched its website and it now includes an impressive e-boutique exclusively for the U.S. The e-boutique includes a range of watches from the Panerai collections, as well as straps and buckles. 1 OF 3 The new Panerai website is compatible with all mobile devices and tablets. The experience is simple and elegant and is easy to manage. Like most e-boutiques, each user is able to save their information under My Account and save their favorite watches and accessories under their Wish List. There is also a "Concierge" service that puts you in touch with a Panerai representative by email. 2 OF 33 OF 3 This is an exciting step for Panerai and is a sign of great things to come for all watch brands. New automatic Seiko with day date in 2012 will have hacking and handwinding feature in the form of the new 4R36 movement. The manufacturer specs seems very low on accuracy +/-45s per day but Seiko calibres can be regulated to much tighter specs with a little work. At this stage, here in Asia we are seeing Seiko 5 debuting with it and Thomas (Yeoman Seiko Blog) just posted on his blog 3 limited edition 200m Divers with 4R36 movement. At first glance my heart leaped for joy seeing shrouded hacking day/date auto diver but I'll give them a pass as the shrouded case is just plastic. In the meantime a couple of 100m WR Seiko 5 seems to indicate that good things are coming for Seiko fans this year. Here is a couple quick photos from the internet (I'll try to get some photos of mine as soon as they arrive at my B&M AD). Hope you like what you are seeing. Seiko SRP172J1Seiko SRP163J1Cheers!
I just bought a watch in Auckland New Zealand, problem is we need to find a shipper or a insurance company that will insure the shipment to the states. I am looking to insure it for about $7000 USD. Any info would be great. Thanks
