- Beautiful & classic looking watch. Fits my wrist nicely & not hanging off like others do. Box it arrived in was rather cheap looking & falling apart but it did not affect the watch.

Breguet 5335PT/42/9W6 wrist watches news:
I had been thinking that the blue HydroConquest would be my next new Longines. I had written off the HC for a while based solely on the pictures on their web site (longines/watches/longines-hydroconquest), they just didn't sing to me. But then I saw a few "live" pictures and they looked great! It brought them onto my radar. Especially after I saw Alton's new white HC! Stunning!!I already have a white faced diver (although not a Longines), and wanted a blue diver so thought the blue HC will be the one. But I tried one on today, and I was a little disappointed in the colour. The watch itself was fabulous, but I had been hoping that the blue would be a little brighter in the flesh, more like the blue of the Omega SMP.So, I don't need a white faced diver, I don't think I want the blue HC, so I need to think what my next one will be!I will keep trying on the blue, just to see if it grows on me. Perhaps it was just the light in that shop. Yeah, that's probably it!
Hi,New to the forum, so I would like to say hi to all.I will be picking up a PP 5140 next week and would like to ask a question about setting it up before I try doing it.I read the setting instructions that w220 posted on 12/6/09 on this forum.I was thinking over the instructions and was wondering about this scenario: Let's say, as an example, I want to set the watch for somewhere between 1/29/11 and 1/31/11(a year 3 date), but the watch was received from the AD with the date at 3/5/08(a year 4 date). If I follow step 1 in the instructions and first set the date for instance to somewhere between and including 29 through 31 and then while doing step 2 and setting the month I would have to pass Feb. in the years 1 and 2, would this constitute a "contradiction" while I am passing this month in the setup and cause a possible problem with the mechanism? This scenario could be extended to the other case where you set the date to the 31and pass a bunch of months with 30 or less days while try
It seems we've had a few recent purchases of Longines watches. So let's see who's on the "brand"wagon, whether modern or vintage. I'll start with my 3 from the 60's:
This is the best looking watch I've seen in a long time. And it's only 41.5mm! Does anyone have one yet? The stainless (or gold) on black leather strap gets my vote. Here's a review on Hodinke
Just sat here looking at my sub 5513 and thinking it¡¯s just black and plain. Wondering how something so plain can be so beautiful. A GMT, D blue, Hulk have other colours. But how come a plain old Sub of all models can be so beautiful . Hope Rolex never stop that dial . Who agrees !!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
