However, one would have to go further back to discover that the brand also boasts a history of developing precision timekeeping instruments for aviation. In fact, French pilot Louis Bl¨¦riot was wearing a Zenith when he crossed the English Channel in his aircraft, the Bl¨¦riot XI, in July 1909. Well, in this particular portrait, you can see Mr. Picasso wearing one heck of a nice watch.? What is it? It's a late 1940s Jaeger-LeCoultre triple date moonphase with teardrop lugs, one of JLC's most beautiful designs.? Update on my situation-OMEGA PRE MOON Speedmaster 321 + Other Omegas
Hi everyone. I posted up a few days ago my situation regarding my watches (Omega speedmaster, Omega Pocket Watch, Cyma Pocket Watch and a little gold one). Now i have them back from the jewellers! It was great and such a relief to get them back. I opened them up carefully and took pictures of them all as you can see in my flickr stream link. >>>flickr/photos/4125538...7622017618397/The omega speedmaster is indeed a 321 caliber movement which people were wanting to know about! Now im wanting to sell all the watches, including my speedmaster, the omega pocket watch, cyma pocket watch and the little gold one. I have had enquires about them so far. The Omega pocket watch however is one i know little about and have no information on what it is or its value. I am hoping from my description and pictures others may be able to tell me!Here is a copied and pasted information sheet i wrote up about them all today. Hamilton Accuracy, unbelievable!!
Hi, I'm new to the Forum and would just like to add that my First Hamilton has amazed me by its accuracy, especially as its not certified as a chronometer. I set my Khaki Officer Auto with sub seconds dial to the GMT clock, last Saturday, in 7 days she has lost only 8 seconds!!! I'm aghast as to the accuracy of the 27 Jewel ETA movement :-)
