Hublot 411.MX.1138.RX wrist watches news:
Ive always had Swiss auto or manual watches. While searching though *bay I came across a very nice looking watch by J Springs (under the Seiko brand) the watch has a 21 J automatic movement, 100m water resistant, glass back, so as a matter of interest (non Swiss watch) I ordered one.The watch came today, and im amazed with the quality, the face is as detailed as my Oris Chronometer, the second hand has a nice sweep, the case is part polished and matt steel, lovely blue hands and barrels, brown leather strap with white stitches. If this was a 'mid to top end' Swiss maker Id be more than happy to pay £400-500, but it was the grand price of..........wait for it...............£23 inc P&P!!!!! the strap is worth £20 at least. This has really shocked me, look at my collection, this watch looks very nice with all that Swiss lot! They make a GMT version, for 200th the price of a Rolex GMT Master, might be worth a punt!PS sorry spelt Seiko incorrectly in the title
Hi there Longines loversI had a quick query regarding Longines straps. A wee while ago I had a Longines Evidenza with a creme face, roman numerals and a quartz movement. It was on a fabulous black calf strap with off- white stitching and deployant. A very nice watch. It's been a while, but the model number was something like L2.655.something. Maybe 654. It is a discontinued model.Fast forward to today- the happy owner of a midsize Omega Railmaster on brown croco. A nice watch that would be completed by that Longines strap. Does anyone know:- does the Evidenza strap come in 19mm width?- does it fit the Omega deployant?- where can I get one? Thanks so much for reading this far. Replies appreciated!Cheersps does anyone know if Longines makes half links for the Hydroconquest bracelet and where they can be sourced?Pps I have spoken to my AD and they don't know.Ppps- thank you again!
I donĄŻt post too often in this forum, but I have a question. One of my co-workers is a former WIS. HeĄŻs whittled his way down to just one timepiece (nuts, I know). We were outside havinĄŻ a smoke, and I was lamenting my need for a new winder (I have just a single head Lux-Pak that I bought here for ten bucks). IĄŻve got 13 watches now, most of them autos, and only a single head winder. IĄŻm a watch setting son of a gun sometimes. He offered me a triple-head winder by Underwood for $100.00. Apparently, each head can be removed and run separately on DC power, as well. IĄŻve looked at the winders on the web and, relying on my in-depth knowledge of winders, opined Ą°Hey, that looks pretty goodĄ±.Honestly, I wouldnĄŻt know a good winder if it fell on me.I have no aversion to spending the money and, seeing as he used to be a WIS (he used to work at a high-end watch retailer here), my gut tells me he probably wasnĄŻt putting his watches on a piece of garbage. That said, I just thought IĄŻd seek some opin
Not an expert on Breitlings at all. Just wondering if you would consider this deal fair?I'm also puzzled on what the purpose is of plating anything nickel. In fact, anything plated to makes me want to run for the hills.E-Bay
The new one or the old version ? Do they look very different ?Besides quality of movement, which one do you prefer ?Photos are borrowed:
