Hublot 341.PX.7518.VR.1975 wrist watches news:
This time last year, Omega brought out what they would position as the ultimate all-purpose, every day watch in the Globemaster. The watch has a lot going for it as is, but now Omega has upped the ante with a Globemaster with annual calendar complication. 1 OF 2 Now in 41 mm (the normal Globemaster is 39 mm), this new annual calendar features each month of the year in the 12 facets of the trademark pie-pan dial. Then, a thin blued hand points towards the current month, which then instantly jumps at month's end. 2 OF 2 The case remains stainless steel while the polished, fluted bezel is made of scratch-proof tungsten carbide. As with the other Globemasters, the annual calendar features a co-axial, master chronometer certification from METAS. More details, including pricing and hands-on photos, to come.More from Omega here. Don't have the HODINKEE App yet? I have owned my brand-new Omega 2221.80 Seamaster Pro quartz for about 3 months now and I love the watch. It keeps perfect time (only picked up a second over the last 6 weeks). My only concern is with the date. For the past few weeks I have noticed that in the morning when I put my watch on (around 6:15 am) the date is not centered in the date window. You can just barely see the bottom of the previous date. With a little shake, the date lines up and is fine until the next morning when the same thing happens again. I did bring it in to the AD I purchased from and they thought the issue may be that the lubricants may have "settled" so they ran the watch through all 31 dates to see if that helped, which it didn't.So my question is should I send it in for warranty repair? Has anyone experienced anything like this? Thanks for your help.
G'day everyone...Just a quick question... patek philippe 5980/1r-001 still in production? I am confused is it only the SS 5980 been discontinued since the 5980/1r-001 was only launched this year right ? Or is it discontinued for the entire 5980 range? Thank you for your kind feedbacks... Cheers and HAGW.. James
Was wondering if people could share their thoughts on the 441. I know ultimately, the only opinion that matters is the person making the purchase, but I'd like to hear others thoughts on this watch.I'm thinking of purchasing this as my first PAM. I know, not the conventional choice but it speaks to me. I don't see much on this piece, and I'm not sure if it's the color, full Arabic dial, material, etc.. Just looking for some input before pulling the trigger.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Hi,So I dropped by a Panerai boutique and they let me try on a lot of the models and was overall very friendly. In particular the PAM00510 looked so good on my wrist I can't get it out of my head. The only thing that put me off was it had a cookie dial. But when I look it up online now, there are PAM510 with the sandwich dials? But the one on Panerai website looks like cookie dial to me as I saw at the boutique. What's going on here?
