Hey guys,We got alot of members who take absolute fantastic pictures that make great computer wallpapers. However, if any of you have a hi-res monitor, the standard recommended 800x600 resolution for posting pictures just doesn't cut it as a wallpaper shot. So, how about a gallery dedicated to hi-res Rolex pictures?John R started this in the General Forum awhile back, and I copied it into the Breitling forum.. Seeing all these great pictures here in the Rolex Forum, I thought hey, lets put one here too! A few guidelines for posting a picture in this thread...1) Please only post hi resolution pictures. seems my omega AD can't get me one of these. odd as omega appear to have recently re-manufactured the cases. anyone care to offer any insight???

Hello All,I had a recent gift from an ill family member. I wanted to spend it on something that can be remembered and passed on to my son eventually. I wanted a nice keepsake. I started my search looking at dress watches and enlisted the help of some of our fine members here (hi Dennis).I then realized that I may be able to get close to one of my grails - Speedmaster Professional. I always wanted one from 1969 for various reasons. The '69 was too expensive - but I might be able to get a decent mid-70s version. So, in searching for the mid '70s Speedy Pro, I ran across a Wakmann triple date chrono. I¡¯ve been looking at Panerai watches for a bit but have never owned one. My wife surprised me with a 653 for Christmas. I hadn¡¯t seen one before now so trying to learn more about it. The watch is numbered on the back of the case as T042/500 but I don¡¯t see that kind of numbering in pictures online. Does anyone know what this is?Also what is the general thought on the PCYC watches?Thanks for the help.
