Omega 2209.50.00 wrist watches news:
I wanted to share one of the greatest experiences of my life, as one of fifteen collectors from around the United States to be invited by Patek Philippe for a week in Geneva to tour everything that is Patek Philippe. Patek flew us all Business Class to Geneva with hotel accommodations at the Mandarin Oriental, with a weeks worth of activities to follow. Here's a short and very brief synopsis..Day 1 - We arrived in the morning at the Patek Factory to experience Manufacturing/Hand Finishing and Grand Complications. We had lunch in Patek's private dining room with Thierry Stern and Larry Pettinelli. Following lunch we departed to the Patek Philippe Museum with a tour of the past and present watches. Day 2 - We departed to St-Imier to visit the dial factory. Following the factory we traveled to Montreaux to visit the Chateau de Chillion midieval Castle. Day 3 - We arrived in the morning to the factory to experience the International Service Center/Restoration Division as well as the Depart
as promised, here are the pictures. i tried to get some of the details. if anyone is considering getting one of these, i highly recommend pulling the trigger. this watch is fantastic! here you'll see my ONE complaint, where the chrono hand doesn't line up perfectly with the 12 o'clock mark. i wonder if there's a way of adjusting that.i love the skeleton hands and the rings around the subdials.the hammy engraving on the side is a slick touch and different than typical engravings i'm used to.the SS crown with black and red chrono buttons is a unique touch.
Mascot had a trip today. We went to Chicago to check out a new watch . And I got too see my watch makers other watch he has for sale. Wow what turned out too be a three hour watch conversation with a other watch WIS. The watch that I want has a RARE E.HOWARD 21 JEWELS here the picture and others.A E.HOWARD POCKET WATCH MOVEMENT FROM THE 1920'sHere a watch that took him 3 days to do the perlage finish on dial plate. Here a group shot. And all of our watches with the Mascot. We got to have a movement shot. Now here my watch a black dial with still has original hands with a Hamilton 917.Movement shot. You guys love pictures a few.
I wound it up and set the time with my atomic watch.Checking it against the atomic watch again this morning, my 300 MC has gained 23 seconds! (.25 sec/day)I guess it's time to have it serviced. ;-)
