Hublot 347.PE.2123.LR.1104.PCM12 wrist watches news:
Just a bit longer for this month's aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer watch giveaway is over. Head over here to enter for a chance to win one of these desirable Prometheus JellyFish Automatic Tritium Diver watches.
That the Speedmaster was originally created to time production in a factory made me wonder if any of us actively use our watch as a tool in our work. Trickster Dickster once said that he did use a chronograph at work. Doctors have been known to use the pulsations bezel of the Speedy of course. These days I expect one's workplace would provide timing equipment that would be far more accurate than a mechanical timepiece.Well, do you pals?I do of coursebeing an AstroNUT :D:D:DY'all have a gr8 week ahead pals ZIN
Hey guys !I just put the finishing touches on this 1918 Elgin "Black Star Dial" Trench Watch. It was in pretty bad shape when it first arrived a couple of weeks ago, neglected for many years obviously. The case is what peeked my interest when taking on this project. These cases are not extremely rare but they can be rather difficult to obtain in good condition. It is a sterling silver, semi-hermetic case with a coin edge bezel made by the Philadelphia Watch Case Company, first available in 1918.It still has the original oversized sterling silver factory crown and it features the more desirable 16mm lugs. Some MEATHEAD over the years did not know how to properly open the case so they just tried to pry it open and caused massive damage to the threading. The threading is much better now and most of the deep gouges have also been repaired. The case has been polished and now looks superb with most of the damage now gone. The grade 462, 1918, size 3/0s movement with 7 jewels has been completely over
Check out this picture. Does anyone else see a problem with it?After a watch, the next best gift is an excuse to buy a new watch. And that's exactly what I got when my fiancee gave me this winder.See how I solved the problem here.
So I have a BLNR random serial from 2014/2015. Mint with box and papers. For pretty much retail $8900.00 USD cash. (Coming from a large reseller where I am, and movement is covered for a year by them)Should I jump on this, or wait to see if I can get one brand new retail for the same price. (and possibly never get one)RegardsAndre Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
