- This watch went dead in a month. I paid to get a new battery but it was still dead. I got a new one and the plastic coating pealed off. Nordstrom is great about taking back faulty merchandise, and I appreciate that.

- Everything about this watch sounded wonderful and the look was great. Reality is - it is bulky, heavy, clanky and did not like the clasp attachment pieces. Just to . Still looking for the 'Great' Watch. This one is going back.

Dear members & visitors of WATCH TALK FORUMS:Mobile computing is an important part of staying connected. Currently, about 10% of our monthly traffic comes from mobile sources such as the iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod), Android devices, Blackberry devices, and Windows mobile devices. The number is growing.WATCH TALK FORUMS currently supports TAPATALK which is a mobile app written for several different mobile platforms which works with our forum software, vBulletin. However, we're considering designing a custom app for WATCH TALK FORUMS which would allow even greater, more intuitive duplication of "desktop" functionality and experience than TAPATALK does. To help us decide if we should commit resources to this endeavor, I wanted to poll our membership to try and gauge interest in such an app. Because of the costs involved we would likely have to charge a most fee for the app - .99 or maybe even 1.99. Thank you in advance for your participation in our poll.
Just invested in what i understand is a Speedmaster FIFA chrono case ref 11003. Chuck's site has some info and I see they are quite rare. I want to get it serviced ( cal 1045 ). Can anyone recommend a good watch repairer. The watch will also need a crystal and a general spruce up - dial clean, case regrain, case back refinish etc... Will any specialist be able to get a new crystal or will I need to go to STS?
Does anyone own both watches or have seen both at the same time? I saw a 5712 in person a while back and thought that the dial was more grey blue (rather than pure blue) than I thought it would be, even under lighting. However, yesterday someone showed me their 5711 in person and the blue looked absolutely amazing, even better than all the pictures I've seen on here. Are the blues on these two just different? Or maybe just my eyes playing tricks
