Vintage Omega Info?
It was suggested that I posted a couple pictures of a vintage Omega that I've been unable to find info on in this forum. Figured someone ought to know. Anyone? Here are a few photos of the Omega. Model #2011 (If that sounds right?) Stamped on the warranty guide. Second pic isn't the best. Just my handheld digital with a goofy white balance setting for the macro.

Pocket Watch by Richard Clayton Cincinnati
I found an old pocket watch by Richard Clayton Cincinnati in a box of family heirlooms. What very little I know about it is that it might have been built between 1834 - 1859 and that Clayton was a silversmith/watchmaker as well as a very well known balloonist c. 1830s. Does anybody know anything about these watches? Any idea what it would have cost when new? (This answer could solve a family mystery...) Many thanks for any information.. 100_1439.jpg

Patek 5990 - long term prospect?
Have just been offered a 5990 from the London Salon.Personally, it's been something I have been chasing since it was released (huge fan of grey dials + travel time dials), and I am now in a position to buy it. On the precipice of picking it up tomorrow though, I've been thinking - I am dropping ?40k (actually ?33.5 after tax refund) on a steel watch (even though its a Nautilus with a complication).What's everyone opinion on whether this watch will hold its value/aura over time? It may be a sought-after piece now, but I'm thinking 10-15 years ahead.Any input on this will be much appreciated.
